When Emmie turned 3 I wanted to start a new tradition, asking her a set of questions to see how her answers change from year to year. Well 6 months ago, she wasn't so responsive when I asked her questions...she chose to ignore me. Today she's officially 3.5 half years old, so I thought to give it another try. This time I spread the questions out over a couple of days so that she wouldn't get so antsy and decide to ignore me again. So I didn't quite come up with 20 questions, here's what we got:
What is your name? Emmie
How old are you? Two (She’s really 3.5, so I casually mentioned that fact so she changed her answer to “Three” while trying to hold three fingers).
Who do you like to play with? Maddy’s friends
What is your favorite color? Ok I showed you…geen…see! (as she takes out a book she loving highlighted pink and points to her scribbles).
What is your favorite food? Rice and noodles…she’s a carboholic!
What is your favorite snack? Fruit Snack (I think Cheetos might be her favorite snack but she was influenced by the word “snack” in the question).
What is your favorite restaurant? Mcdonald’s with a big silly grin on her face
What is your favorite kind of candy? Cho-co-lat
What is your favorite toy? Cinderella and lots of make-up.
What is your favorite book? Cinderella (which she has 4 Cinderella books so I’m not exactly sure which one she is referring to).
What is your favorite animal? Lion and Chihuahua too
What is your favorite TV show? Mickey Mouse
What is your favorite song? Telephone (Original by Lady Gaga, but she loves the Kids Bop version)
What do you love about your Mama? Butterflies
What do you love about your Daddy? Toots
What do you love about Drew-Drew? Umm…(followed by at least 10 seconds of silence) Toots!
What do you love about BaBa? Toot toots – there’s a common theme for her!
What do you want to be when you grow up? A Mermaid
