Being Thankful!

Yet again! This is a little bit late, but I was waiting to document the big NY blog before hitting up the holidays!


Emmie is really grasping the concepts of the different holidays we celebrate. She talked to us about Tanks-gibbing and turkeys pretty often. I'm thinking she got it from school! So one day when she was bringing up Tanks-gibbing, I asked her what she was thankful for and told her being thankful for something meant we were happy that we had it.


This year, ladies and gentleman, she was thankful for her Pet Shop. A gift that her Lola bought her that she hasn't received yet but knows is coming! Of course I followed up with asking if she was happy to have Drew as a little brother, to which she answered yes! Then was she happy to have Mama and Daddy and she just laughed out loud! That's my baby!


I'm thankful for the simple fact that I have a happy and healthy family! There's not much more I could ask for...well there is but they're all material things that if I didn't have a happy family I probably would care for anyway!


So thanks to...
...my little babies for being my little babies!
...my hubby for loving me even when I'm moody (even if he's the reason I'm moody)!
...to my mama for being there for me like no other mama can be (even if she's a little kooky)!
...to my brother and his wifey for giving us our first nephew!
...to my in-laws for not being those kinds of in-laws and for spoiling my kids rotten (someone's gotta do it)!
...and to all my wonderful friends, who I couldn't live without!
