On Monday, I remembered it would be show and tell the next day. I told Emmie it was going to be either U or V. She quickly decided on bringing her My Little Pony Unicorn and ran upstairs to get it. She came down with a unicorn candle that used to be mine in high school. She was very excited about it, and we even decided to tie a pretty bow around its neck. Emmie wanted to write her name on the ribbon; which right now consists of just the letter E. She's really perfected it. We'll need to start working on her other letters soon!
Well later that night at like 10 pm, I get the email from her teacher the letters are actually V or W not U or V. I really don't know why her teacher waits until so late to send out the reminder! Of course, she was already in bed, and had her heart set on the unicorn. I turned to Dennis to see what options we had, he said "White Unicorn!" Genius! White Unicorn it was!
