Day 10 - Favorite word

Since today is Dennis's birthday, I'm dedicating today's blog to him and sharing with you my favorite golf word!  Mulligan! It basically means do over and the picture is of Dennis doing a mulligan for a shot he just didn't like the first time.  I tried to point out the old and new ball so you don't think I'm just making something up!
We had a great day for his birthday! It started off with the scavenger hunt the kids and I put together for him.  We got him small things he could use for a triathalon, swim lessons and will be registering him for one in September (it just wasn't open yet)!  If you can't see in the picture he got goggles, gloves and socks.  I threw in some packets of tuna since they were on sale and know he likes to eat tuna when trying to lose weight!  I had the kids hide the gifts and wrote out clues for him.  It was a good time and he's a little concerned because he's not a strong swimmer! I believe with the lessons he's going to be awesome!
After the hunt we took the kids to school and I stayed because Drew's class had a tea party for all the mommies! It was cute! The teachers were so sweet and put together photo albums for each mom with pictures of the kids throughout the year!  My little one is growing too fast!  Sigh!
Anyway after class, I met up with Dennis for a free buffet lunch!  We stuffed our faces and debated about making the drive to the boonies for Dennis cash in on his free round of golf would be worth it since it might rain!  He decided he wanted to take the chance, so then I got to be the cart and pin girl. It was a nice day to be out on the course and it was super relaxing.  He didn't play a full round since it did start raining but we still had a good time.  Since he wasn't counting this game he didn't care about the mulligans!  He had a few!

He wanted to go catch Avengers so I had to tell him Emmie had something planned for him. She was throwing him a surprise football party. She asked to invite Maddy but I had to make sure Thach could come too.  Then she wanted to invite her Titas, cousins and Lolo and Lola.   We ended up with the Hoang family and Lolo and Lola "surprising" him on the drive way.  We took everyone out for some yummy crawfish and ended the day with some beignets and honey!

It was a great day and I wouldn't mulligan anything!
