So part of the reason why I had to travel this week was so I could attend my coworker's bridal shower. She joined my team back in April from another department but stayed in New Castle. So when they started planning her shower they wanted us to attend, they wanted to know if we could make it there. I thought it'd be nice to go so we came up with a few more reasons to go. One big reason was my team was responsible for a corporate policy roll out. We put together a presentation and I told Amanda she'd be presenting part of it. We got to the office like 30 minutes before the roll out was suppose to start and we had my manager distract her with a meeting while everyone prepped and down for the shower. We went to grab them and I had a stack of what looked like the presentation to hand out. She opened the door and there was everyone there to surprise her. She turned to me and was like oh my god are really doing this, pointing to my stack of papers! Opps they were blank! Our real session was scheduled for the next day! It was a great surprise!
This isn't a picture at the shower, but its all I have. The girl with the long brown hair is Amanda (bride to be), curly hair is my boss Lucille and the other older lady is Meredith who retired early and has caused all this travel for me! This was taken on Meredith's last day!
