This year each child in Emmie's class was person of the day and had to bring something in to share about themselves. I had the brilliant idea of having Emmie do an "I like" Book and I loved the results. She picked out all her likes, picked out pictures and spent a few days writing each of them out. She can get tired of writing pretty quickly, so luckily I didn't wait to the last minute for this project and had her do 2 to 3 pages a day, which was perfect because towards the end she would always say "oh now its the hard part", referring to the writing. Her handwriting has gotten significantly better over this past school year! I'm so proud of her!
